New fan art imagines Deadpool popping up in a portal and meeting Batman and Superman. Known for his foul mouth and breaking the fourth wall, Ryan Reynolds' mutant has been a fan favorite since his cinematic renaissance in 2016. He's been at the center of two highly successful big screen adventures, and a third, Deadpool 3, is currently in the works. In late 2019, Reynolds confirmed the film was in development at Marvel Studios following Disney's acquisition of Fox.
Unlike Fox's Fantastic Four, which will be rebooted by Marvel Studios, Reynolds' Deadpool franchise will be integrated into the MCU. In fact, Deadpool 3 will be its first R-rated project. How exactly that comes to pass is still unsure at this point, but thanks to the burgeoning Marvel multiverse, it may not be that big of a problem. The events of the recently-released Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have established how relatively easy it is to move from one universe to another. Interestingly, this is also the main idea behind a fun fan art that sees Deadpool even crossing over to the DCEU.

In a new illustration by digital artist Erathrim, Wade Wilson emerges from a familiar-looking portal, where he's greeted by Batman (presumably Ben Affleck) and Henry Cavill's Superman. Aside from using a sling ring to open the now iconic MCU gateway, Deadpool is also wearing Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation. Check out the fan art below:
