In Deadpool #25 by Gerry Duggan and Scott Koblish, a middle-aged Ellie joins Wade in combat against his other daughter Warda Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool 2099, with the goal of reclaiming the family name and legacy. During the battle, Warda succeeds in lighting Ellie on fire, forcing Wade to watch as his daughter seemingly dies, with only her charred remains left behind. Thankfully, Ellie proves she is Deadpool’s daughter and then some, regenerating in the teenage form she had reached when her powers first manifested — with all of her memories and previous knowledge intact.
