The Dead Island 2 release date may have been revealed via a new retail listing.
Earlier on Thursday, Amazon went live with a new product listing for the long-delayed game, which is set to be published by Deep Silver.
According to Wario64, the product listing was initially accompanied by a February 3, 2023 release date and a product description, although these have now been pulled.
The listing also includes several new screenshots, which are viewable below.

Dead Island 2 was first announced in 2014 and has since suffered a series of delays and changes of developer.
It was originally in the works at Spec Ops: The Line studio Yager before development duties were taken over by Sumo Digital. Dambuster, an internal Deep Silver studio, then took over development in 2019.
Deep Silver parent company Embracer Group previously appeared to suggest that Dead Island 2 was on track to be released during the current fiscal year ending on March 31, 2023.
It was claimed earlier this month that Dead Island 2 will have a big focus on cooperative play.
Sources said to be familiar with the game’s development also told Try Hard Guides that the game has a main cast including 5-6 new characters.
