DC Universe Online Episode 45: Shock to the System is Live Today
After being pushed back a week, DC Universe Online Episode 45: Shock to the System, is live today on all platforms. Join characters like Static, Rocket, and Ebon in the storyline centered in Dakota City, take on new missions, world bosses, and additional new content.
The storyline, which was written by comic book writer Leon Chills, has an official description that sets the stage for that story to unfold:
“Dakota City’s just built differently. The Big Bang attack that created new heroes, villains, and victims has drawn sinister, otherworldly attention. Ebon’s powers cast a long shadow, but it’s the Apokoliptian Parademons that has Static shocked enough to contact you. Why are people disappearing, why has Apokolips turned its attention to Dakota City, and will you be able to take on such a shadowy threat?”
Devote some of your time and efforts into trying to find some missing heroes and stop Apokolips once Static contacts you for help. Bringing in characters and elements from the Static Shock animated series, along withsome of the regular DCUO content, Shock to the System has a minimum level of 20 for the newest additions.
There are both normal and elite versions of new On Duty content, along with some limited-time event versions. With the new story content also comes open world missions, relevant world bosses, and other adventures that will take you around the new Dakota City. Expect a new duo, raid, and an alert to challenge and get your hands on some new gear based on Rocket and Ebon.
