One of the most well known characters to ever originate on the pages of a comic book is undoubtedly Wolverine, and that acclaim is due in part to his impressive superpowers which include razor sharp claws extending from his fists and his ability to heal rapidly. But even though Wolverine’s popularity makes him A-list material, one DC hero puts his healing factor to shame and proves Wolverine is strictly C-list in terms of power level.
James “Logan” Howlett aka Wolverine was born a mutant in the late 1800s, and once his mutation fully manifested, he found that he had heightened senses, bone claws that could extend and retract from his knuckles at will, and the power to heal incredibly quickly no matter the severity of the injury. Later in life, Wolverine was abducted by a top secret mutant experimentation organization known as Weapon X. Weapon X experimented on Logan and attempted to turn him into a living weapon. In that effort, the Weapon X scientists coated his bones in adamantium, turning his bone claws into six unbreakable blades while also making his whole body that much more durable.
