Google is about to release the Pixel 6a 5G, its new mid-range smartphone for 2022. With other A-series smartphones launched in the past, Google has provided a similar experience to its flagship smartphones. The Pixel 6a 5G is no different since it's part of the Pixel 6 series launched in 2021. As of now, the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro are available to purchase for $599 and $899, respectively.
Launched as premium models, the Google Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro feature the Google Tensor chipset. At its I/O conference this year, Google announced several devices, including the Pixel Buds Pro, Pixel Watch, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, an Android tablet, and the Pixel 6a 5G. Out of all the products, the Pixel 6a 5G will be the first to launch.
