The co-op horror multiplayer experience Evil Dead: The Game is receiving free extra content, and fans of the Army of Darkness film may recognize the game's newest level. Ash Williams has been battling the demonic spirits known as the Deadites throughout the Evil Dead films and television series for decades. Several characters have helped Ash in his battles, though not everyone makes it out alive. The high-stakes adventures make the stories both goofy and thrilling for fans, helping continue the popularity of the series.
When Evil Dead: The Game was released earlier this year, it was met with mostly positive reviews. The game has four human players fight to survive while another player controls a powerful demon capable of summoning monsters and setting traps. Competitors can control fan-favorite characters, including several renditions of the broomstick-wielding Ash Williams and even his quirky teammates from theAsh Vs. Evil Dead show. Some players claim the game continues to suffer from balancing issues and repetition, however, the developers hope to fix these issues with a new update that will add free content.
