Netflix releases a new trailer for its upcoming film adaptation of the classic Jane Austen novel Persuasion, starring Dakota Johnson. Persuasion features a stellar ensemble cast that also includes Cosmo Jarvis as Wentworth, as well as Richard E. Grant, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Henry Golding.
Now, a brand new trailer for Persuasion released by Netflix puts the spotlight on Johnson's character Anne, as she finds herself in an entrancing love affair. The trailer constantly finds the fun-loving protagonist breaking the fourth wall and addressing the audience, as she recounts the original Austen story of her relationship with her family and involvement in a potential love triangle. The trailer's many light-hearted and silly moments showcase the unconventional and humorous nature of this unique Austen adaptation. Check out the full Persuasion trailer below.
