Druids and barbarians are two of the most nature-themed classes in, aside from the ranger. Despite this connection, the two classes play completely differently. The druid is a caster who controls the battlefield with nature-themed spells while also possessing the ability to transform into an animal for both combat and utility. On the other hand, a barbarian is a straightforward combatant who utilizes stat boosts from their rage to deal heavy damage to their enemies. A druid and barbarian multiclass in seems absurd, but they can support each other's strengths better than one may expect.

Rage and Wild Shape are the signature abilities of the barbarian and druid, respectively. Rage gives a barbarian bonuses to rolls and damage while it is active, at the cost of tiring them out afterward. Meanwhile, Wild Shape lets a druid assume the form of a wild beast up to twice per day, gaining the attributes of said creature.
