Cyberpunk 2077 fans might be waiting patiently for current-gen updates, especially those who intentionally skipped the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. Rumours swirl that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S patch for the action RPG is coming soon. But in the meantime, perhaps a dating game set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe could tide players over.
Cyberbang 2069 (yes, you read that right) is a dating game with plenty of sauce thrown in, and which is available in SFW and NSFW versions. Created by a small team known as Triple Thirst, the female-led devs have conjured up a visual novel. TheGamer downloaded Cyberbang 2069 in the name of research and gave it a whirl, clicking through different dialogue options as we tried to win the admiration and affections of Arasaka ninja Sandayu Oda.

Cyberbang 2069 has also been sanctioned by CDPR, with the Polish studio giving the project its blessing of a kind. The game's description reads: "A FREE, UNOFFICIAL fan project made with express permission from, and not endorsed by, CD Projekt Red." Triple Thirst clearly asked the developer for the okay in order not to be shut down. And members of the CDPR team are clearly into the fan-made project:
Cyberbang 2069 is a visual novel at heart and thus relies a lot on text. But the music and audio featured in the 'game' is a real vibe, while there are certainly sexy parts. The game also allows male or female V to have a lot more male romance options than the official game on which it's based, and builds out the characters and their relationship dynamics more.
