Massive Monster's Cult of the Lamb is a deceptively simple roguelite from the outside. Players are instantly thrown into combat sections during the beginning moments of the game and may feel as if they're playing any other dungeon-crawling, procedurally generated adventure. All of that changes, however, once players make it successfully through the combat tutorial and are whisked away to their own small plot of land. One of the most important aspects of this community builder is unlocking and securing building recipes via Divine Intervention. Players that gain enough devotion from their followers will gain Divine Intervention points which can then be used to unlock recipes via the «structure tree.» There are a lot of buildings to unlock and some of them are much more useful than others. Here's a look at some of the best structures to unlock in the early portions of the game, when players are just beginning to build their cult.
Before players can unlock buildings, they'll first need to gain access to the Divine Inspiration mechanic as a whole. Thankfully, finding and unlocking this aspect of the game is guaranteed, as players will progress through a series of tutorials that will help them to understand how to run their cult. Once players have progressed far enough, they'll be given the option to purchase a Shrine. This Shrine acts as a conduit for Devotion, which players will use to gain Divine Inspiration points.
