Crysis 4 is on its way, with developer Crytek putting out a teaser trailer following a leak on Chinese social media.
Announced under the simple headline of 'A Crytek Announcement', the teaser shows a number of images, from an unstable sun to a collapsing building, before ending with a large number 4 and the tagline "Join the journey. become the hero."
No official title, release date, platforms, or game details have been announced at time of writing.

A leak from earlier today confirms that the 4 refers to a fourth Crysis game. As reported by Eurogamer, Crytek's BiliBili account posted a message that translates to "The 'Crysis 4' project is confirmed, opening a new nano battlefield!"
Crysis is a first-person shooter series that's as synonymous with high-tech visuals as it is beloved gameplay. Pitting players against alien invasions, deadly ciruses and mercenary forces, the games offered first-person combat with added nanosuit powers.
It's been 9 years since Crysis 3, but we've recently seen the entire trilogy remastered, leading many to speculate that a sequel could be on the way.
