The deep voice from YouTuber, musician, and streamer Corpse Husband is easily recognizable when heard in any setting, but he hasn't hosted his own stream in a great while. After six months of not streaming, Corpse Husband has revealed why he stopped, and why he hasn't come back.
Corpse Husband is a public figure in the YouTube, Twitch, and music scene with a shroud of mystery surrounding him with fans never having seen his face. Only some people like Valkyrae have met him in person, with others only hearing his voice. He had been very popular on Twitch when he started streaming on the platform but had stopped back in November 2021.

The reason Corpse Husband has stated for his lack of streaming is due to the pressure he felt in entertaining thousands of people on stream, which is no surprise after the massive amount of followers he gained after his first stream on the platform. He revealed that during every stream he would be shaking the whole time, and it got to a point where he said, “...Yeah, I don’t really think I enjoy doing this.” Corpse did continue joining in on his friend's streams and found that he enjoyed that more than hosting his own streams.
Gaining a lot of followers right off the bat as a streamer and a YouTuber can put immense pressure on anyone, whether they're prepared for it or not. Corpse Husband has opened up and spoken about his chronic condition and this may or may not be a contributing factor to his issues while streaming, but it's clear he is more comfortable having the freedom to come and go as he pleases or needs to while guesting on a friend's stream.
