The Nintendo Switch cloud version of Kingdom Hearts 2 has broken the Trinity Limit, essentially turning it into a one-hit kill machine.
After years of fans asking for Kingdom Hearts to be ported over to the Switch, we finally have it - well, we have a cloud version that runs awfully, kicks players for being idle for too long, wipes save data and overall has the community up in arms. In case you need another reason to laugh at it, it's also somehow managed to break the Trinity Limit in Kingdom Hearts 2.

The new glitch was discovered by ninten866, who was streaming the cloud release when it happened. The video shows them performing the Trinity limit on the Hydra, before realising that they're able to perform the Break command indefinitely. The more you press the Break command and get a higher combo, the more damage that the final move of the Limit will cause.
In most versions of the game, you're not given enough time to build a high combo and deal a broken amount of damage, but the cloud version has broken the move and extended it to the point where it can take out most bosses in one hit. It's not clear exactly why the Switch version has caused this glitch, but ninten866 says that it's due to the buttons being remapped.
Essentially, because the Switch port remaps the X button to A, the game doesn't recognise that the Limit has been started and then keeps it going for much longer than it's supposed to. It doesn't seem as if the move will allow for unlimited hits, instead just allowing for a much greater number of them before the Limit ends.
