Cliff Bleszinski is trying to resurrect LawBreakers
pcgamesinsider.bizDevelopment vet Cliff Bleszinski is seemingly trying to revive shooter LawBreakers.
That's according to some tweets from the man himself, in which he told fans to "stay tuned" for news around the IP at the start of April. Since, he has discovered that the game's publisher, Korean giant Nexon, actually owns the property. He is now trying to talk to the firm's CEO Owen Mahoney to see if there's anything to be done about the shooter.
Bleszinski isn't up for being involved with actually making the title, but would rather prefer a non-designer or director position.
"Kinda over the whole making games thing for a while, mate," he wrote.
He continued: "I'm over being CEO and lead designer. Shiz is exhausting. "But if a third party wants to resurrect it with Nexon I'm down for consulting."
LawBreakers was released by Bleszinski's then-studio Boss Key Productions back in 2017, though the game failed to get off the ground. Boss Key canned the title, before turning its attention to free-to-play battle royale title Radical Heights. The developer went bust just over a month later.
Interestingly enough, it appears that Radical Heights was sold to Squanch Games when Boss Key went out of business, too.
