A mysterious trailer for the previously unknown project Cliff Beasts 6 has fans everywhere wondering what exactly the new Netflix movie is actually about. Featuring plenty of famous faces in what seems to be an Asylum-style sci-fi romp, the trailer hints at a hitherto unknown franchise with no less than five previous entries. However, a look into the clip's backstory reveals that there's more to Cliff Beasts 6 than meets the eye.
The trailer itself, which is only around 40-seconds long, hints at the involvement of an all-star cast. Leading a team of mysterious cliff-climbing characters is none other than Guardians of the Galaxy's Karen Gillan, who appears to come face to face with a dinosaur-like winged reptile. Gillan is accompanied by the likes of David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, and Guz Khan (whose previous credits include Zack Snyder's Army of Thieves). Considering the caliber of the personnel involved, some viewers are understandably baffled as to why the previous entries in the Cliff Beasts saga seem to have passed by with such little fanfare.

However, despite boasting some impressive talent in front of the camera, Cliff Beasts 6 is actually not what it seems. Given its proposed release date of April 1st, some viewers have understandably claimed that the entire movie is nothing more than a practical joke. The reality, however, is much more complicated than a slightly premature fake trailer and is in fact centered around Judd Apatow's 2022 movie The Bubble.
