After some confusing Twitter posts, Netflix confirms that Cliff Beasts 6 is indeed a fake movie. In 2022, Netflix promises to release a new movie every week. Hype is already high for a number of those movies, with the likes of The Adam Project and The Gray Man already highly anticipated releases. When the official Netflix Film account teased the arrival of Cliff Beasts 6, however, viewers were confused.
Not only had Cliff Beasts 6 not been part of Netflix's 2022 Movie Preview but many were also scratching their heads at the fact that it marked the sixth film in a franchise that somehow nobody had ever heard of. No evidence could be found online that Cliff Beasts 6 was a real movie or that any other Cliff Beasts movies had been made, but Netflix continued to Tweet out posters and loglines of all the previous Cliff Beasts movies. With a cast featuring a number of talented actors, including the likes of Karen Gillan, Pedro Pascal, Leslie Mann, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Peter Serafinowicz, Fred Armisen, and Maria Bakalova, many quickly realized that Cliff Beasts 6 is not a real movie at all.

In a new post on Twitter, Netflix has confirmed that Cliff Beasts 6 is a fake movie after all. Tweeting out a new poster, Netflix reveals that Cliff Beasts 6 is a fictional movie part of Judd Apatow's upcoming comedy, The Bubble, which tells the story of the cast and crew trying to make a movie during a pandemic. The funny poster is a copy of the previously posted one for Cliff Beasts 6, but without all the digital effects, instead featuring a green screen and motion capture performers on wires.
