In mid-2019,Red Dead Online officially launched for players worldwide. This had come several months after the initial game's release, and it still maintains a dedicated fan base to this day. While content updates for the game significantly slowed down as years went on, players continue to find new ways to makeRed Dead Online entertaining and have even found a way to cross it over with The Batman in a funny little way.
Earlier this year, The Batman was released in theaters to mostly positive reviews and a strong box office haul. The film would go on to make over $770M worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing solo Batman film to be released since The Dark Knight Rises came out in 2012. Despite having been announced at CinemaCon earlier this year, a sequel to The Batman has yet to be officially greenlit, likely due to the ongoing situation at Warner Bros Discovery. However, it now appears that there are Red Dead Online players who were fans of the recent film.

In the past, the game's fans made some crazy tributes to their favorite franchises. One fan, for example, created Water White from Breaking Bad in Red Dead Online, while others recreated the franchise's villainous clan, the Salamanca family. This fan of The Batman, however, did something a bit simpler. In a recent post, Reddit user yaesthete revealed their own little tribute to the film. Before the video starts the player apparently drew the Bat-Signal with moonshine. Once the video begins, yaesthete shoots the signal, igniting the moonshine and revealing the iconic image in flame while Nirvana's «Something In The Way» plays over the footage.
