Class-Specific Epic Weapons Datamined in Season of Discovery Phase 5 PTR

With our continued datamining of the Season of Discovery Phase 5 PTR, we've discovered a line of high item level class-specific epic weapons! Look out for spoilers below!

A Little Something for Everyone

There's a weapon, shield, or other item for each class, most of which containing two or more variants for different specializations, that can be swapped between with a special use action. Interestingly, these items are all item level 79 as well, which isn't quite as high as the new Nefarian rewards, but still on the high end for the Phase — they all have seemingly competitive effects though, which could still be more valuable.

• Druid: Gla'sir transforms into Rae'lar for Feral Druids.

• Hunter: Kestrel and Peregrine appear setup for Survival, as ranged Hunters already enjoy Lok'delar, Stave of the Ancient Keepers and Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers.

• Mage: Staff of Order switches between Staff of Inferno and Staff of Rime for each elemental specialization.

• Paladin: Truthbearer for Retribution can be converted to Truthbearer for tanks and healers.

• Priest: Cassandra's Tome stands out as a trinket instead of a weapon, likely because Priests already have access to Anathema and Benediction.

• Rogue: Dream Eater is the only version available to Rogues.

• Shaman: Terrestris for DPS and healers can be turned into Terrestris for Shaman tanks.

• Warlock: Scythe of Chaos is the only version available to Warlocks.

• Warrior: Suzerain, Defender of the Dragonflights does not feature a DPS variant at this point in time.

Note that we don't have models for any of these items yet.

Possible Class Quest Rewards

While still far from a complete picture, it appears as those these weapons will come from new class quests, similar to those enjoyed by Classic Priests and Hunters already, as there's also an incomplete handful of epic quest items with matching item levels, though there remain some questionable disparities:
