Mayim Bialik is likely to serve as the host of Celebrity Jeopardy! on ABC. Bialik is an actress known for her role as neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler in The Big Bang Theory. Not only did Bialik play a neuroscientist, but she also has a PhD in neuroscience herself. She and Ken Jennings currently split hosting duties on the syndicated version of Jeopardy!. Additionally, Bialik hosted the primetime Jeopardy! National College Championship earlier this year.
According to Deadline, Bialik taking on the role of host forCelebrity Jeopardy! is looking likely, though no official announcement has been made. ABC just announced thatCelebrity Jeopardy! will air as part of its fall 2022 schedule on Sundays at 8 p.m., with celebrity contestants competing for a chance to win money for their charity of choice.

It makes sense Bialik is likely to host Celebrity Jeopardy!, primarily because she was chosen to host all primetime specials when the announcement was made that she and Jennings would be sharing syndicated hosting duties for the time being. It's also a good fit because Bialik is an actress herself. With her attached as host, her connections to the entertainment world may offer especially fun asides in-between rounds and could even attract more A-list celebrities interested in playing the game with her as host. Viewers will have to continue following whether Bialik will in fact host the new primetime show. Hopefully, there will also be announcements of who some of the celebrity contestants may be as the premiere date forCelebrity Jeopardy! approaches this fall.
