Call of Duty: Warzone players are no strangers to finding bugs and glitches in the game. While some of them can be very game-breaking, the latest Call of Duty: Warzone bug isn't nearly as serious, but it is weird.
Call of Duty: Warzone's Season 4 bugs have frequently been front and center lately. The new Fortune's Keep map has had players getting stuck on terrain, players glitching underneath the map itself, a bug that covers players' screens with the «Return to Map» overlay for the entire match, and more, so it's understandable that people would be frustrated with yet another bug, no matter how simple.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Makes Important Gulag Change
One of several Call of Duty: Warzone operator bugs, this particular bug was found when a player used a finishing move on their opponent while playing as the operator Charly. While the actual function of the finishing move was not affected at all, the visual of it very much was. Normally, the British operator would pull out her handgun and execute the enemy by pulling the trigger herself, but in this case the operator's gun appears to take on a life of its own. The weapon floats into the air and fires at the enemy character without any input from Charly whatsoever.
This animation bug is another in an unfortunately long list of bugs plaguing Season 4 of the popular Battle Royale shooter. While it's thankfully not as game-breaking as spawning in a horde of zombies on Fortune's Keep or some of the other previously-mentioned bugs, it can still be frustrating to players. Visual bugs, of course, are not as impactful as bugs that affect gameplay, but finishing moves that players paid for should function as advertised.
