Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific has not been the breath of fresh air that many were hoping for. While Caldera is certainly different from Verdansk, many Call of Duty: Warzone players do not believe the map is different in a good way, with one Redditor sharing a side-by-side comparison that highlights Caldera’s weaknesses.
The problems highlighted by the map comparison are a lack of points of interest in Caldera and a startling amount of empty space. Plenty has been said about the lack of named locations in Caldera, with a fan recently coming up with their own points of interest that would make the battle royale map livelier. For comparison, Verdansk had 22 named areas for players to land at, loot, and fight in. Caldera only has 15 unique, named areas, limiting the variety of places that gamers can land at.

In the edited image, empty space is highlighted in red, and one glance should instantly make it clear just how different Caldera and Verdansk are in terms of their designs.
When it comes to Verdansk, the red space is not only limited, but it is kept to the outskirts of the map.
