Raven Software continues to grapple with several significant issues in Call of Duty: Warzone that frustrate the battle royale's players. For the most part, though, Raven has acknowledged these issues and listed them as being investigated. It's rare for a prominent issue in Call of Duty: Warzone to go long without being acknowledged, given how vocal the fanbase is. To many's surprise, an issue tied to Call of Duty: Warzone's battle pass appeared to be ignored for several weeks, but has now garnered the attention of Raven.
The current battle pass in Call of Duty: Warzone started without controversy, largely because it launched with a double XP weekend. However, as time went on more and more players began to feel like something was wrong with Call of Duty: Warzone's battle pass progression system. They weren't acquiring XP at a meaningful rate, or players saw that others who played less were somehow ahead of them in battle pass progression. This criticism mostly spread in March and has persisted throughout the month.

Yet Raven Software has only acknowledged the issue now. On Thursday, March 31, Raven posted a message saying that it's investigating an issue where Call of Duty: Warzone players aren't' receiving the correct amount of Battle Pass XP. The issue has officially been added to Raven's development Trello, where the issue was yet to otherwise be acknowledged.
