The entire James Bond catalogue is coming to Amazon Prime this month. Based on Ian Fleming's novels, the historic Bond film franchise dates all the way back to 1962 when it began with Dr. No starring Sean Connery in the lead role. Since then, the long-running series has seen many continuity reboots with different actors playing the suave secret agent. Daniel Craig was the last actor to play Bond with his emotional send-off, No Time to Die, coming in October of last year.
Bond has been an incredibly successful brand for MGM Studios. The movies have grossed over $7.5 billion at box office, making it the fifth highest-grossing film franchise of all-time. When news of Amazon's acquisition of the century-old studio first surfaced, fans wondered what their plans were for the 007 franchise. Last month, Amazon officially closed a deal to buy MGM for $8.5 billion, stating they have no intentions to make major changes to the Bond franchise, as Eon remains the primary producers. Soon after, Amazon announced news of their first project after the purchase – a massive Bond-themed globetrotting game show called 007's Road to a Million.

Now, Amazon is continuing to make moves following their acquisition of MGM. Empire reports that the entire James Bond catalogue is coming to Amazon Prime Video later this month on April 15. This includes all 25 canonical films, which excludes the non-Eon entries – 1967's Casino Royale and 1983’s Never Say Never Again. Unfortunately, the collection will only be available to stream on Prime Video for a “limited time.”
