Actor Jamie Dornan comments on how he feels being considered for the role of James Bond. Dornan is best known for his role as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, as well as a number of other notable roles within the last decade. The Irish-born actor has also appeared in films like Anthropoid, The Siege of Jadotville, Synchronic, and Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar. His latest role was as Pa in Kenneth Branagh's Oscar-winning Belfast.
Daniel Craig just wrapped up his tenure in the role of the iconic British agent 007 with last year's No Time To Die, his fifth and final outing as the character. Before Craig, the role was inhabited by the likes of Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan. Rumors have been swirling over who will be cast next ever since Craig announced he'd be leaving the part and his iteration of Bond met his fate in No Time To Die. However, Bond franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have said that a decision on the next James Bond will be made sometime this year, but nothing has been announced as of yet.

While talking to ET Canada, Dornan commented on his casting consideration as James Bond, saying that he thought it was «fun» and «cool» to be on the list. The «list» in question is an unofficial mix of actors that are constantly touted as possibilities. While there's no real frontrunner for the role as of yet, Dornan commented that he felt the names circulating around the role aren't there by accident, as all of the actors on the list are currently starring in notable projects.
