Call of Duty: Vanguard is wrapping up its first season of content and will be moving on to the next one soon. A new post was released announcing the second season for Call of Duty: Vanguard with details on the new content the game will be getting next week.
Both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone will be receiving new content in Season 2, which launches on February 14. According to the post, both games will also receive new updates before the season begins, starting with Vanguard on February 10 and then February 14 for Warzone. As part of Season 2, Call of Duty: Vanguard will be receiving new content for the Multiplayer as well as in Zombies, and that's not the end of it.

Season 2 will also introduce four new weapons that players can use in the game. The four weapons include the KG M40 Assault Rifle, the Whitley LMG, Armaguerra 43 SMG, and the Ice Axe. In the game, operators will be able to get their hands on these new weapons in Multiplayer, Zombies, and in Call of Duty: Warzone.
The KG M40 is described as a high-caliber weapon that rivals the other three assault rifles that were unlocked in Call of Duty: Vanguard. This assault rifle will have the «second-highest damage per shot in its category,» with a fire rate higher than 600RPM. The Whitley LMG will be a strong mid to long-range weapon that players can use «across all three game modes» in Call of Duty: Vanguard. According to the post, it will be highly customizable, with even the base form providing the «best damage per shot» compared to its other counterparts in the game.
