Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 teaser trailer leaks ahead of Tuesday’s official reveal
A Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 trailer has leaked online ahead of a more significant reveal later on Tuesday.
The low-quality trailer below runs for 18 seconds and is expected to be officially released imminently alongside gameplay videos and details.
Activision is planning to take the wraps off the next series entry at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST / 7pm CEST on June 8.
Influencers who were invited to see the game ahead of the official reveal have said to expect Modern Warfare 2 single-player and multiplayer details to be announced alongside information on Warzone 2.
Activision announced in April that a new free-to-play Warzone experience is being built from the ground-up alongside Modern Warfare 2, led by developer Infinity Ward.
It recently confirmed that the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 release date is October 28, 2022.
Following the announcement, several Modern Warfare 2 editions, pre-order bonuses and beta details seemingly leaked via an update to Call of Duty Vanguard.
While unofficial, the datamined files suggest Activision plans to release three editions of the game, each of which grants early access to an open beta for PlayStation players when pre-ordered.
They are the Modern Warfare 2 Standard Edition, Cross-Gen Bundle and Vault Edition. The most expensive edition is also said to include the following:
