Many Call of Duty fans cannot wait for the release of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, as every other day more and more details about the game leak online. The name of the upcoming title has, however, sparked some confusion as the upcoming game shares a name with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from 2009. It is possible that Activision is hoping to capitalize on some of the success that the 2009 game experienced as it has been lauded by many to be one of the best games in the series.

While these fans wait for a release date for the upcoming game to be announced, some of them have taken to reminiscing about the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The game featured what many Call of Duty fans consider to be the best 1v1 map of all time in Rust. This led one fan to recreate the compact multiplayer map out of LEGO, and the end result was surprisingly accurate as the fan included every structure that the map featured.
Late last year, other fans decided to reminisce about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by hopping back into the game one last time.
