Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War came out in 2020 to generally positive reviews. It was criticized for technical issues and a lack of content on launch, but developer Treyarch has since released several new maps for the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War continues to get new content at a steady pace, as the developer released the WMD map and the Vargo 52 Assault Rifle last month.
In a new blog post, Treyarch has detailed all the content coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Vanguard this year. Most notably, it confirms that the fan-favorite Jungle map from Call of Duty: Black Ops will get re-released for Black Ops Cold War. Jungle is one of the most popular maps from the original Black Ops, and it has been re-released in other Call of Duty games. The post also mentions that Treyarch will release a new weapon and a familiar face from the campaign as an operator in the coming weeks.
