A new promotion will give those who purchase a physical copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge a free pizza from Pizza Hut. Initially revealed in March of last year, the upcoming side-scrolling beat ‘em up may finally be releasing soon if a recent leak of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge’s release date proves to be accurate. According to the leak, the new game is supposedly releasing on June 16 but neither Tribute Games or Dotemu have made any announcements so far.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is the latest retro-style game from publisher Dotemu, which previously released Streets of Rage 4 back in 2020. The new TMNT game retains many of the elements of the classic arcade game, including its visual style and brawler gameplay. The upcoming game does include a few modern features and mechanics, such as online multiplayer and new team-based combos, but it still mostly keeps true to its 80s roots. Apart from the four turtles, players will also be able to play as Master Splinter and even April O’Neil.

During the Limited Run Games Showcase 2022, it was announced that every copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge purchased through Limited Run Games and major US retailers will offer the ability to claim a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. While details on the new promotion are sparse, it supposedly only applies to the physical version of the game that will be made, distributed, and sold by Limited Run Games.
