New footage from Bullet Train shown as CinemaCon teases the film's opening action sequence. Bullet Train is directed by John Wick and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch and boasts an all-star cast led by Brad Pitt. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara, Michael Shannon, Joey King, Zazie Beetz, Logan Lerman, Andrew Koji, and Sandra Bullock round out the key players, all of whom are either aboard or have some connection to the actual Bullet Train in question.
The premise finds Pitt's mysterious assassin character boarding the Bullet Train in order to complete a mission, all while seemingly trying to turn a new leaf in his personal life. Once aboard, however, it appears that there are multiple interested parties in his mission, which involves the retrieval of a metallic suitcase and possibly the action genre staple of revenge. Much of this has been teased in previous Bullet Train trailers, teasing a kinetic, stylish and humorous vibe akin to a big summer action movie.
