CBS cancels its long-running drama Bull after six seasons. The legal drama series premiered in 2016, centered on the employees at Trial Analysis Corporation (TAC), a jury consulting firm. Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) sat at the helm as the team's psychologist and trail expert. The character was inspired by the career of Dr. Phil McGraw, who served as an executive producer. With co-stars Geneva Carr, Freddy Rodriguez, Chris Jackson, Jaime Lee Kirchner, and MacKenzie Meehan rounding out the cast, the series went on to film in New York for six seasons securing a solid fanbase.

In a series of tweets, the actor wrote, "It’s been my privilege to play Dr Jason Bull but after 6 Seasons of incredible storylines, I’ve decided it’s time to pursue new creative challenges and bring his story to a close." Weatherly's statement implies it was his decision to end Bull. After six seasons, the actor said it's time for him to explore other opportunities.
