Brok the InvestiGator is launching a Christmas Special update. It’s not an update with new quests, décor and other stuff. It’s actually a standalone visual novel set in the Brok the InvestiGator universe. French devs Cowcat has dropped this update for free with holiday cheer.
So, the new storyline goes like this: Graff and Ott are two students living in the dystopian world of Atlasia. During Christmas, they are thrown into something called ‘Natal Untail.’ It’s like Atlasia’s broken-down version of Christmas.

Cowcat has more than just a story for this update. They’re also dropping their new BROKVN Engine, which is free, too. It lets you make your own visual novel and comes loaded with assets. The engine can also export your creations to PC, mobile and even consoles if you get a little help from the devs. A great holiday gift to aspiring game creators, I think.
Launched earlier this year, Brok the InvestiGator is a game of many genres. A point-and-click adventure with a bit of beat ’em up-style gameplay. It’s like an 80s/90s cartoon in a gritty, dystopian setting. The game gives you an awesome number of replayable choices, puzzles, and multiple endings.
And just like the futuristic society featured in the game, the game itself has achieved quite a technologically advanced feat. It’s completely accessible to visually impaired players. So, check it out on theGoogle Play Store and dive into its latest Christmas Special update.
