Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Book of Boba Fett episode 5!
Din Djarin has his beskar spear melted down in episode 5 of The Book of Boba Fett, but the weapon’s creator is never specified. “Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian” has Din Djarin take the role of the protagonist, following his escapades after The Mandalorian season 2 and showing how he comes back into contact with Boba Fett. His beskar spear, which he acquired on Corvus, is considered a taboo weapon by his Tribe, so while the Children of the Watch didn’t make it, several potential parties could have.
Made of pure beskar, Din Djarin’s spear was first shown as a weapon of Morgan Elsbeth, an Imperial (and subordinate of Grand Admiral Thrawn) who attempted to kill Ahsoka Tano with it. Tano won the duel and gifted the spear to Din Djarin, who went on to defeat Moff Gideon with the weapon. Like all pure beskar items, the spear is impervious to lightsaber blades, making it a deadly weapon against even a trained Jedi or Sith.

In The Book of Boba Fett, The Armorer and Din Djarin, aware of the beskar spear’s ability to penetrate Mandalorian armor, decide to melt down the weapon and reforge it into an item for Grogu. Given The Armorer’s reaction to the spear, the spear wasn’t made by the Children of the Watch, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t made by another Mandalorian group. The weapon was first shown being used by Morgan Elsbeth, making it potentially an Imperial creation.
