Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk tweets an image to celebrate the series wrapping filming for its sixth and final season. This comes soon after the announcement that the 13-episode season will premiere on April 18 on AMC for its first seven episodes and July 11 for the final six. Filming of the season took place over 11 months, with multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Odenkirk's on-set heart attack.
Better Call Saul follows Odenkirk's Jimmy McGill, a criminal defense lawyer, and former conman who must deal with his personal demons, as he transforms into Saul Goodman, the lawyer of Walter White on Breaking Bad, the parent series of Better Call Saul. The new season is expected to follow the slow burn and character focus that makes Better Caul Saul a hit. The series has received five nominations for Outstanding Drama Series at the Emmy awards, with four further nominations for Odenkirk's leading performance.

Now, Odenkirk has tweeted a picture of himself and his co-star Rhea Seehorn on a mountain in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the series is shot. He includes in the caption that the series wrapped the previous day and gave mention to the crew that brought the series to life. He also credits the strong writing for leading the way, helping to overcome the challenges that come with making a TV show. Check out the photo below:
