Even with its latest and perhaps greatest in Elden Ring, FromSoftware’sBloodborne remains one of the most popular titles in its catalog. Thanks to its more action-oriented combat, unique aesthetic and setting, and fan-loved Trick Weapons, Bloodborne has always stood out—and fans have wanted a sequel for a long time.
Many fans would settle for a 60 FPS upgrade for Bloodborne, while others hope for a proper PS5 remaster or remake. A sequel, much to many fans’ dismay, is unlikely because FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki prefers new IPs to sequels. That hasn’t stopped fans from hoping for Bloodborne 2, and one fan-made trailer gives fans a tantalizing taste of what it could look like.

As reported by Screen Rant, YouTuber ENFANT TERRIBLE recently made a trailer for Bloodborne 2 using Unreal Engine 5. The video reportedly uses artwork from Bloodborne artists and developers, enhancing them with Unreal Engine 5’s capabilities. If there’s one thing for certain, it’s that Unreal Engine 5 would make Bloodborne 2 a true marvel.
There are several environments that showcase what a Yharnam from the ground up could look like, while also showing snowy and sandy environments that would fit Bloodborne 2 if it expanded beyond Yharnam. It’s always felt like a pipe dream, but to know thatBloodborne 2 on Unreal Engine 5 is incredibly unlikely feels like something taken out of the Hunter’s Nightmare.
