A fan-made trailer for Bloodborne 2 imagines a sequel that rebuilds Yharnam, and crafts other exotic locations, within Unreal Engine 5. Released in 2015, FromSoftware's gothic horror soulslike abandoned the knights and dragons of Dark Souls in favor of cobblestone streets, werewolves, Trick Weapons and eldritch gods. While some rumors claim that Bluepoint Games is making Bloodborne 2, as of writing there has been no official announcement of a sequel to the FromSoftware classic.
While it does follow the basic formula of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, Bloodborne manages to deliver a wholly original experience. The game's combat system emphasizes aggression over defense, with the Hunter player character moving at fast speed and recovering health by quickly counterattacking foes. Various Trick Weapons, which can instantly switch between two distinct forms, also make the Bloodborne combat system stand out from other soulslikes. Since its launch in 2015 fans have been clamoring for a sequel to the Lovecraftian RPG, but unfortunately this dream has yet to become reality. Last year a Bloodborne 2 fan trailer was released, which proposes a multiplayer arena mode and new locations, and now another fan creation has been released.
