Blizzard Confirms Patch 2.0 Public Test Realm - Vessel of Hatred
During the Xbox Showcase at Gamescom yesterday, we learned that Blizzard will hold a Campfire Chat livestream on August 29 to discuss Season 6 and Vessel of Hatred, Diablo 4's first expansion, which will be released on October 8.

Less than twelve hours later, Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher revealed that Diablo 4's development team will also talk about the upcoming Public Test Realm for the Patch 2.0 expansion patch!
This comes as a big surprise because just over a month ago, Brent Gibson, Game Director of the Vessel of Hatred expansion, stated in a Windows Central interview that they wouldn't open up an expansion PTR:

In this case, we're not going to be doing a PTR for the expansion content specifically. We feel that PTRs are terribly important. And we're going to continue to do them. But when it comes to the expansion content, as we're developing it, we are going to keep that just a little closer to our chest.
