Although releases a little before the new PS5 Pro console, the game is being designed to offer an enhanced version for players using the new system, although it may not be what everyone is expecting. The fantasy RPG is expected to feature stunning graphics on all platforms it is launching on and therefore is already limiting its release to the current gen systems. Using the expanded capabilities that the PS5 Pro offers is said to make that experience even more impressive.
Recently, EA released some information on the game specifications and requirements for Among this information was a note from BioWare Studio Technical Director, Maciej Kurowski, stating that players «will immediately notice an improved experience with PS5 Pro.» Although the statement noticeably left out any confirmation of the coveted 4K 60 FPS, PS5 Pro players will benefit from the improved resolution on both 30FPS and 60FPS modes and ray tracing available for 60 FPS Performance mode.
If was able to feature 4K 60 FPS, that would have been a highlighted feature in the announcement regarding the performance qualities of the game. This point being excluded does not necessarily mean that it will not be able to hit that framerate, but the developers likely were unable to make the game consistently stable with those conditions.
