Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on the May 16 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, and a recent update indicates that an end to this saga may finally be near. Both The Boss and The Glow have gone radio silent since then. WWE hasn't mentioned them on-air since burying them the night of the walkout and on the subsequent episode of Friday Night SmackDown when they were publically stripped of their titles and suspended indefinitely.
Banks and Naomi were set to take part in the main event of that May 16 Raw, albeit as individual competitors despite being women's tag-team champions. It was reported at the time that Banks and Naomi were worried about the state of the female tag division, and walked out in protest of the way it had been booked. Banks was supposedly being positioned to lose a feud with then-SmackDown Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey, while Naomi was set to lose to Bianca Belair at Hell In A Cell after winning the main event of the Raw they left.

That's pretty much the last big news WWE fans have heard regarding Banks and Naomi. In late June it was reported that WWE was attempting to smooth things over with Banks, but nothing came of those rumblings. Now Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com has an update on the duo, and it's a big one. "While there has been no official indication they have been released, PWInsider.com can confirm that both Sasha Banks and Naomi were removed from WWE's Internal roster over the last 24 hours." Johnson also writes that "We have heard rumblings Banks may be doing some signings outside of WWE this Fall as well, but again, no official confirmation."
