Final Fantasy 14 fans are making their way back to the critically-acclaimed MMORPG in preparation for 6.2, its next major content patch. Players will have one more thing to occupy their time in the weeks preceding the Final Fantasy 14 patch as the Moonfire Faire makes an explosive return.
As with many events, players can participate in the Moonfire Faire event by heading to the Aftcastle in Limsa Lominsa and speaking to Mayaru Moyaru once the event begins on August 10. Players who have reached level 30, including those on Final Fantasy 14's free trial, are eligible to accept the event quest, called “A Matter of Course,” until the event ends early morning on August 26.

This year, the event rewards are a swimsuit glamour called the Summer Sunset set. The items themselves are shared between both male and female characters, and both are incredibly detailed and dyeable. Additionally, players can get a Summer Bonfire outdoor furnishing item to throw their own fiery festivals.
The Moonfire Faire is a yearly summer-themed event where Final Fantasy 14 players unlock special cosmetics, including swimsuits, mounts, and special dances. One year even saw players becoming a part of a sentai squad of color-coded rangers. Judging from the quest name and art of the event, it is likely the Moonfire Faire for this year is bringing back the exceptionally fun and popular obstacle course Final Fantasy 14 had available in the past.
