Not Okay, currently available to stream on Hulu, is a dark comedy from up-and-coming director Quinn Shephard that explores the world of social media influencers and how easily their audience can be fooled into believing lies. It stars popular young actors Zoey Deutch and Dylan O'Brien, who previously teamed up this year on crime drama The Outfit.
The film centers on Danni Sanders (Deutch), a photo editor for Depravity whose goal is to become a writer. The only problem? No one seems to believe in her talent. As a quick remedy — not to mention a way to impress her crush Colin (played by O'Brien) — she photoshops herself into a fictional writers' retreat in Paris. When a terrorist attack nearby provides her some viral fame, she's cornered into taking on the role of traumatized survivor rather than fess up to the truth.

And then I would see a crew member cringe or laugh at me, and I'd be like, «What's going on?» I
