Behavior Interactive’s Dead by Daylight lets players play through the classic slasher movie scenario. And while the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game features plenty of original characters, a big part of its appeal is the introduction of Killers and Survivors from other horror franchises.
Developers announced Dead By Daylight’s second Resident Evil crossover with a trailer back in May. While the announcement trailer didn’t reveal much about the upcoming Resident Evil: Project W expansion, its newest trailer finally revealed the Killer and Survivors coming to the game this September.

The new Resident Evil characters include Survivors Rebecca Chambers and Ada Wong. Meanwhile, the series’ recurring villain Albert Wesker bursts onto the scene as Dead By Daylight’s newest Killer. While this reveal was spoiled by the Dead by Daylight leak from a few days ago, it’s still good that fans now have an official confirmation. The upcoming Project W will also feature reworks to the Raccoon City Police Station map introduced in June 2021.
The trailer takes place in the above-mentioned Police Station map. Dead by Daylight’s original character Meg Thomas looks worse for wear after getting thrown around in Project W’s announcement trailer. Fortunately, she’s met up with Resident Evil’s Rebecca Chambers, who helps her take shelter inside. However, their rest is interrupted by the arrival of Resident Evil 2’s Ada Wong, who hastily barricades the door behind her. Unfortunately for them, a wooden door and a length of pipe aren’t enough to stop Project W’s version of Adam Wesker, who shatters the door with his mutated tentacle arm.
