A new teaser trailer for the final Better Call Saul season 6 hints at a chain of imminent final showdowns. After seven years, Better Call Saul is set to begin the conclusion of the story of Jimmy McGill (aka Saul Goodman) when season 6 premieres on April 18. The Breaking Bad spin-off has received almost as much critical acclaim as its predecessor, in a testament to the strength of its stellar cast, gripping storyline and the creative talent of series creator Vince Gilligan.
Better Call Saul’s final season 6 will lead directly on from the events of season 5’s finale, which saw Nacho Vargo on the run from the Salamanca’s while Jimmy McGill and Kim Wexler become increasingly entangled with the work of the cartel. While careful not to reveal too much, previous Better Call Saul season 6 trailers have shown glimpses of the impending confrontation between Jimmy and Kim, and ex-boss Howard Hamlin, leaving questions about how this interaction leads to the pair’s further descent into the criminal underworld. Spurred on by new promotional material, audiences also expect Better Call Saul season 6 to wrap-up the story of Jimmy McGill post-Breaking Bad.
