Bethesda’s Unannounced Plans Revealed In Leaked Document

Bethesda’s plans from 2020 have leaked, thanks to a document that went public overnight.

As reported by Video Games Chronicle, these documents didn’t accidentally get leaked from the FTC trial. It’s not clear how the leak happened, but Bethesda has also yet to comment on what was revealed.

So, the plans go all the way until the end of 2024, and we already know most of it. Starfield, Redfall, and Ghostwire: Tokyo have all been released. We also know that Bethesda would be publishing The Elder Scrolls 6 and an Indiana Jones game.

But Bethesda’s unannounced games are also part of the leak, and these are our main points of interest.

So, first off, there are plans to remaster The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Fallout 3. These sound like they are prime candidates for fresh remasters for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also possible that Bethesda plans to release these games on Nintendo Switch. With all that said, these haven’t surfaced yet so we don’t know if they will be releasing in the future.

Bethesda also plans a new Doom game called Doom Year Zero. We don’t know what the scenario behind Doom Year Zero is. What we do know is that plans already incorporate DLC, that will release on the same year, and the year after that Doom Year Zero releases.

Also yet to be revealed is Dishonored 3. In spite of its name, this will be the fifth game in the series. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider sums up the story of the first game, and is labeled as a ‘standalone’ entry in the series. Meanwhile, the events of Deathloop do not directly connect to the events in the Dishonored games. But Arkane has confirmed that it exists in the same universe.
