Bethesda has given fans a taste of what is to come for Fallout 76. The developer shared its 2022 content roadmap showing what the year will bring to the online RPG. This content schedule includes new public and seasonal events, a new regional boss event, and a chance to explore the world outside of Appalachia.
The content roadmap is broken down into four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Kicking things off is the Spring update “Invaders From Beyond”. This seasonal event will have players “save Appalachia from an otherworldly, all-encompassing invasion”. It will introduce new Public Events as well as new random encounters. It will also bring with it a Fallout Worlds update that adds the ability to earn SCORE. Finally, it will include the release of Season 8: A Better Life Underground.

After Spring comes the Summer update Test Your Metal. This update will force players to put everything they have to the test with new Public Events. These events will feature new arena fights against robots and will also add upgrades to the scoreboard progression in Fallout 1st. Test Your Metal will also add Season 9 to the game.
When it comes to Fall, Bethesda is adding Expeditions: The Pitt to the game. This update will let players go beyond the borders of Appalachia and into post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh. Here they can take on new missions, interact with new characters, take down brand new enemies, and come away with some awesome rewards. This update will also add Season 10 to Fallout 76.
Finally, the last update for the year is the Winter Nuka-World On Tour update. This will welcome a traveling show known as “the fizziest show on earth” to Appalachia. Along with the traveling show,
