A new video from the set of Batgirl has teased Brendan Fraser's character, Firefly, and his powers in the upcoming DCEU film. In The Heights' Leslie Grace will star as Barbara Gordon, otherwise known as Batgirl, in DC's upcoming project for HBO Max, after years of audiences calling for the beloved comic-book character to receive her own standalone project. Helmed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Batgirl is currently in the middle of shooting, however, despite a number of exciting set images having made their way onto social media throughout its production, official teases for the film have been few and far between.
Gotham City's blue-suited protector, Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon, played by J.K. Simmons, who will reprise his role from Justice League. Simmons is just one of the exciting names to join Batgirl in her upcoming addition to the DCEU's ever-growing lineup of heroes, as Michael Keaton is also set to return as Batman, sending the internet into a spin with a recent Instagram picture that saw the actor tease his highly anticipated return to the role. While Keaton's Batman looks set to assist Barbara in her vigilante endeavors, another of Batgirl's big names, Fraser, will feature as the comic book villain Firefly, who is out to cause mayhem in Gotham City.

Now, an exciting new video from the set of Batgirl has teased Firefly's powers within the film.
