Actor Ben Affleck will not only play Batman once again in 2023's The Flash, but now it's been revealed that he will portray the Caped Crusader in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom as well.
Aquaman actor Jason Momoa revealed the news himself on Instagram. The announcement came earlier than expected, it seems, as fans on a Warner Bros. studio lot tour discovered Affleck's trailer. This encounter was documented in Momoa's video below.

Affleck spoke openly about his struggles with playing Batman. After a «troubled shoot» on Justice League, Affleck admitted that taking on the role of Batman again for another film might have led him back to drinking. «I showed somebody The Batman script,» he said. «They said, 'I think the script is good. I also think you'll drink yourself to death if you go through what you just went through again.'»
But Affleck surprised some when he announced he would play Batman in 2023's The Flash (in which Michael Keaton also plays Batman). And now, we'll see the Oscar-winning actor and director in The Lost Kingdom next year as well.
Affleck made his Batman debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, before reprising the role in Suicide Squad and Justice League. He was originally lined up to direct and star in The Batman before removing himself from the picture, with Robert Pattinson stepping as Batman and Matt Reeves as director.
