Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman has set a record with his return in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom that no other Dark Knight actor may be able to beat. Affleck's performance as Batman in the DCEU has been one overshadowed by uncertainty for the last several years, which began with heavy rumors of Affleck's departure following the legendarily disastrous reshooting of Justice League in 2017.
