Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is well underway, and Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher is getting fed up with her stews Ashley Marti and Gabriela Barragan continuing to clash. As the head of the interior, Daisy has to make sure all the guests’ needs are being met while also overseeing her second and third stews. Oftentimes, working together in such tight quarters with a lot of strong personalities is bound to cause friction amongst the cast members.
Unfortunately, this was the case with Ashely and Gabriela. Daisy had a strong interior team on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2, during which she was also chief stew. Dani Soares and Alli Dore both got along with each other, while also meshing well with Daisy.

While Alli was pretty green and was slow to clean cabins, her positive attitude made Daisy’s job easier. In Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, both Ashley and Gabriela had a lot of experience working on yachts, but as the charters went on, the two stews kept butting heads for various reasons, leaving Daisy exasperated.
Gabriela and Ashley both had the same amount of experience working on yachts. However, Daisy appointed the second stew role to Gabriela simply due to her being older and having more life experience. This caused Ashley to feel competitive with Gabriela, later confessing to the cameras that she didn’t like to lose. Ashley also didn’t like being told what to do by Gabriela and kept getting annoyed at Gabriela’s lists of tasks she assigned to her. Gabriela got frustrated by Ashley’s lack of respect for her and called her out in front of the crew. Gabriela later apologized to Ashley, but the two failed to find their footing.
